Tomorrow will be my first day of classes at University. I'm not nervous and I'm not excited, but I am curious. How will my work group be? Will the teachers be nice? What if I don't even like this study, should I quite in that case or go on a few more weeks?
I'm the first person to study History of everyone I knew before I met some classmates. I went om camp with some of them this weekend and believe me, it was one of the most boring camps I've ever been to. The only fun parts were meeting new people and the Woodstock themed party last night. Maybe I can show some pictures of it later.
First class tomorrow is Homeland History. If there is one part in the whole history of the world that I find boring, it's the history of my own country. Not much happened. The Dutch became rich because of their colonies (Indonesia and Suriname) and their geographical place in the world. Then they lost much of it thanks to the wars with England. And that's about it. Ancient, American and British history is so much more interesting. I'll have that class three times a week! But luckily I can drop it after the first semester and then I'll never EVER have to go through that stuff again.
On another note, I'm quite proud of one of my latest gifts to myself. A dvd box with Elizabeth, Elizabeth the Golden Age, Shakespeare in Love, Atonement, The Other Boleyn Girl and Pride and Prejudice. For only twenty euros! That is a little over 25 dollars, is that cool or what! 8D
